Who hasn't been intrigued, awed or fascinated by the Bloodhound? From Sherlock Holmes to Best in Show, the Bloodhound has been portrayed as a loveable and eager to work. Whether sniffing it's way through mysteries or winning at Westminster, the Bloodhound is never confused with another breed. We're lucky enough to have our own Bloodhound at the SPCA and he is as loveable as they come. Pete loves everyone he meets-as long as they're human. No cats or dogs for him, he'd rather eat them so he can have you all to himself.... If you think you may have the right home for this fantastic dog, come meet him, you won't be disappointed!
I decided to begin a blog when my dog Montana passed away. I wanted a way to make a tribute to her incredible spirit and the years we spent together. Montana was certainly the dog of a lifetime and I am so fortunate that I was able to spend nearly everyday of the past 14 years with her. Montana was a shelter dog, my first shelter pet, and I truly believe she is what inspired me to make a career in animal welfare.
I am currently the manager and vet tech at the shelter in Hailey Idaho. I currently surround myself with my dog Stella, cat Chip and horse Dublin, but there really isn't a day that passes where I don't think of adding to the family.
wow... that's one cute dog!
